Great jacket for winter running. It is just a very simple, uninsulated nylon windbreaker, but it has zipper pockets (a must for my hanky and securing my gloves when my hands get hot). I live in the mid-Atlantic so it gets cold, but not too cold and I am usually good with this jacket over a merino wool top during the winter. YMMV depending on your location and if you tend to run hot or cold.I'm 5'8" and somewhere between 125-130 lbs. and generally proportionate hips/shoulders so I typically wear a size small in both tops and bottoms. I was more comfortable in a medium in this jacket, small was too restrictive across shoulders and chest for me. I'd say the medium fits me similarly to the model in the photo. The overall body length and sleeve length is great for taller people. I'm not particularly tall, but I do have long arms for my height (a big, annoying challenge with tops) and the sleeves on this jacket are plenty long.I snagged this for a big discount, not sure if I would pay full price considering it's really just a simple non-technical windbreaker.This is the perfect jacket to stuff in your pack or bike bag during the changing seasons. Gives a layer of protection from wind and a light rain. It is also SPF 50, so you can wear it for sun protection. If you are not lean, or want to wear an under layer, buy a couple sizes larger. I am 5'3, 130. I bought the extra large to wear over a sweater. This makes a very cozy combination for spring or fall bike riding. The zipper comes up high on the neck to keep wind out. The hood fits nicely over a baseball type hat and stays in place.I like taking this on warm alpine hikes with cool peaks. Packs down to nothing, and while it doesn't necessarily keep out the cold on the summit, it does a pretty good job with the wind. Aesthetically speaking, I was afraid the print was going to be too prominent and distracting, but it's actually very subtle. Fit is slender and very flattering, just like the photo.The jacket was great quality however runs very small. I ordered an XL (my normal size) and couldn’t even zip it up. It was even snug on a friend that wears a medium ....
